A quick and easy no-churn peach ice cream recipe that delivers a smooth, creamy texture and fresh peach flavor without the need for an ice cream maker.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1 can (14 oz / 396 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups (480 ml) cold heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel, pit, and slice about 3 medium peaches. Toss them with 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to prevent browning and add brightness. If peaches are tart, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar over them and let sit for 10 minutes to macerate.
  2. Add peaches to a blender or food processor. Pulse 5-6 times, leaving some small chunks rather than a full puree. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, pour 2 cups (480 ml) of cold heavy whipping cream. Using an electric mixer on medium-high speed, whip until soft peaks form—about 3-4 minutes. Be careful not to overwhip.
  4. In another bowl, stir 1 can (14 oz / 396 g) of sweetened condensed milk with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Fold the peach mixture gently into the condensed milk mixture using a spatula to keep it light.
  6. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the peach-condensed milk mixture in three additions, stopping as soon as combined to keep the mixture airy and creamy.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container, smooth the top with a spatula, cover tightly, and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
  8. Remove from freezer about 10 minutes before scooping for easier serving. Use an ice cream scoop dipped in warm water for perfect scoops.

Notes

Use ripe, juicy peaches for best flavor. If peaches are very juicy, drain excess liquid before pureeing to avoid icy texture. Whip cream to soft peaks to avoid grainy texture. Fold gently to keep airiness. Freeze at least 6 hours or overnight for best firmness. For dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and use vegan condensed milk alternative.
