This Easy Pumpkin Cold Foam Iced Latte is a quick and simple homemade coffee treat that features a velvety, lightly sweet pumpkin cold foam over iced coffee. It’s the perfect fall morning ritual without the drive-through line or $7 price tag.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup cold heavy cream or whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (100% pure, not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 to 2 shots of espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 3/4 cup milk of your choice (oat, almond, or dairy)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: 1 to 2 teaspoons brown sugar or simple syrup
  • Optional: Extra pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon for garnish
  • Optional: Whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Brew your coffee or espresso and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a small bowl or jar, combine cold heavy cream (or milk), pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir gently to break up the pumpkin puree.
  3. Using a handheld frother, blend the mixture for 30 to 45 seconds until thick and creamy, holding soft peaks.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the milk of your choice over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full. If desired, stir in brown sugar or simple syrup.
  5. Slowly pour the cooled espresso or strong coffee over the milk, using the back of a spoon to create layers.
  6. Gently spoon the pumpkin cold foam over the top of the latte.
  7. Sprinkle with extra pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon. Serve immediately with a straw.

Notes

Use cold heavy cream for the thickest foam. Don’t over-froth; stop when soft peaks form. For dairy-free, use full-fat canned coconut milk for the foam and oat milk for the latte. The cold foam base can be prepped the night before and frothed fresh in the morning.
